ARIT supports and administers research fellowships for Turkish PhD candidates and scholars affiliated with Turkish universities who wish to conduct research in Turkey, Greece, or at foreign research institutions.  Please see individual programs for eligibility criteria and program information.

Türk-Amerikan İlmî Araştırmaları Derneği Bursları support Turkish PhD candidates for short-term doctoral research projects within Turkey.

W. D. E. Coulson – Toni M. Cross Aegean Exchange Bursları support Turkish scholars who wish to conduct research in Greece and Greek scholars who wish to carry out research in Turkey.  Applicants to ARIT must be nationals of the Republic of Turkey who wish to carry out research in Greece, in any field of the humanities and social sciences from pre-historic to modern times.  The American School of Classical Studies at Athens (ASCSA) cooperates to facilitate the exchanges and administers the program for Greek scholars.

George Hanfmann, Ilse Hanfmann, ve Machteld J. Mellink Bursları support Turkish PhD candidates and scholars affiliated with Turkish universities to carry out research in archaeology and related fields at foreign research institutions.
